Sunda Kelapa is the name of some places and a port in Jakarta, Indonesia. This port is located in the village Networking, Penjaringan subdistrict, North Jakarta.
Although now Sunda Kelapa is just the name of one port in Jakarta, this area is very important because the villages around the port of Sunda Kelapa is a forerunner of Jakarta's anniversary is set on June 22, 1527. At that time Kalapa, his real name, is a royal port of Padjadjaran that is capitalized in Pakuan (now the city of Bogor) were captured by the troops of Demak and Cirebon.
